General terms and conditions of business

§1 General

iDiSCi allows the use of its services exclusively on the basis of the following general terms and conditions. By using the Services, the User agrees to be bound by the following General Terms and Conditions.

A separate agreement applies to the use of paid offers (websites, coaching and anything other one on one communication) for the publication of paid entries.

§2 Use of the services

iDiSCi offers users the opportunity to find address data and other information that has been made available to it by its customers for publication. The search function on the iDiSCi website is free of charge for all visitors. Likewise, the creation of classified advertisements that do not exceed 54 characters, do not contain hyperlinks, symbols, logos or images and are assigned to a maximum of one category is free of charge. The advertisements are kept in the database for at least 3 months and, when searched, are displayed on a map of the area together with the address entered. Deviations from this regulation must be agreed upon separately, are subject to a charge and are offered under packages.

Invitations from the iDiSCi event planner are kept in the database for at least 3 months. The first 50 invitation emails per event, as well as 5 MB for the photo gallery, are free of charge for private individuals. Deviations from this are agreed upon separately and are also offered under packages or are part of more extensive offers.

The contract is concluded upon acceptance of the user application by iDiSCi or upon the first act of fulfillment by iDiSCi. The user warrants that the information he provided about himself and other contract-relevant circumstances when concluding the contract is complete and correct. The user undertakes to inform iDiSCi immediately of any changes to the data. In the event of a violation, iDiSCi is entitled to block the contractual services immediately.

§3 Obligations of the user

The user is obliged to make truthful statements in the documents resulting from the use of the iDiSCi website. It is strictly forbidden to use iDiSCi services in connection with pornographic, racist, animal abuse or animal negligents, and any other illegal content. This also refers to the use of the system to distribute unsolicited emails (SPAM) or content that violates the rights of third parties. The use of mechanisms, software or other scripts in connection with the use of the iDiSCi website, as well as blocking, overwriting, modifying, copying (this also applies to copying using "robot / crawler" search engine technologies or through other automatic mechanisms) The user is strictly prohibited from distributing generated content. The user must avoid unreasonable or excessive loading of the iDiSCi infrastructure. The user is fully responsible for the information he publishes on iDiSCi. To use our services, the user is provided with access data, which they must keep in a safe place. This information may not be accessible to third parties at any time.

§4 Termination

Both parties have the right to terminate the contract for free entries at any time with immediate effect. The cancellation for paid entries is regulated separately in the paid packages and can be found under packages. On the user side, termination should be sent to the following email address: webmaster@idisci.com; iDiSCi also issues the termination via email. If desired, user data will be deleted after the contract has ended.

§5 Liability

iDiSCi is liable for damages based on intentional or grossly negligent breaches of contract by its representatives or vicarious agents in accordance with statutory provisions. Otherwise, iDiSCi is only liable for injury to life, body or health or for culpable violation of essential contractual obligations. However, the claim for damages for the breach of essential contractual obligations is limited to the foreseeable damage that is typical for the contract. Furthermore, iDiSCi is not liable for any direct or indirect damages or disadvantages that may arise from the use of its services.

iDiSCi is not responsible for the advertisements, information or statements made by its users. It therefore assumes no liability or guarantee for the accuracy or completeness of this information.

iDiSCi makes no promises about the availability of the web, map and email services.

Server failures can occur again and again due to malfunctioning technology, so iDiSCi assumes no liability for any damage caused to the user.

§6 Exemption

The user releases iDiSCi from all claims that other users or other third parties assert against iDiSCi due to the user's behavior due to violation of their rights, including subsequent costs,
e.g. court costs and legal fees.

§7 Data Protection

iDiSCi assures that the strict German data protection guidelines are observed when collecting, processing and using personal data. It is not part of iDiSCi's business to sell customer information.

However, customers expressly agree that the advertisements they create with iDiSCi may be passed on to third parties. However, iDiSCi will only pass on information it receives to third parties to the extent described below:

In all other cases, iDiSCi will inform customers if personal data is to be shared with third parties so that the customer has the opportunity to give their consent.

In order to prevent misuse of our services, registration is necessary. iDiSCi uses so-called “sessions” to authenticate the user. These serve the sole purpose of authentication (e.g. personal greeting, etc.) and are deleted after you close the browser or log out.

If there are actual indications, iDiSCi is entitled to collect and use the data necessary to detect and prevent unlawful claims and to enforce its claims against the user. In accordance with the applicable provisions, iDiSCi is entitled to provide information to law enforcement authorities and courts for criminal prosecution purposes.
